Editor: Hello, Denis. It’s a great honour having you today. Could you say hi to everyone and introduce yourself briefly?
Denis: Thanks for having me. I’m Denis O’Brien. I’m a television and film producer from the United States. Most of my career has been spent making commercials. I’ve done a lot of commercials, including with Merrill Street, Corbin Bernsen, Nathan Lane and other great actors. As well as lots of really wonderful actors that you’ve never heard of that carried the bread and butter in the commercial industry. I’ve been fortunate to travel the world shooting in different places, learning about different people and things. And that’s one of the reasons why I found such a nice fit with Tweebaa. Because they, like me, have noticed that people lived differently in very many places in the world and things are uneven you might say. And Tweebaa wants to empower people.
Editor: As a two-time Emmy winner and a producer with so many national and international masterpieces. You have obtained great influences in this field. So, what makes you feel Tweebaa is so attractive and special for you?
Denis: Well, as I started to say before. Yes, what makes it attractive and special to me. Tweebaa is a company that wants to actually empower the person using their application. Most applications are kind of like vampires. They want to either give the application away for free and take money later or they want to give the application away for free, take all your information and leverage that to advertise you back and sell to you. So Tweebaa’s main concern is the end-user and how to allow them to have multiple ways to earn inside the earning ecosystem. Which is fantastic!
Editor: Do you still remember the moment when you first learned about Tweebaa? How did you learn about Tweebaa? And which Tweebaa feature touched you the most?
Denis: I can’t tell you how easy it is to remember that moment. I had landed in Spain and taking public transportation with my family. Nine of us or eight of us are on a trip to Spain for Christmas. And we were in Madrid, not far from the busiest part of Madrid. And my good friend Stephen called me on the phone to let me know what was going on. This is an unbelievable application so I downloaded the application that night and I started using it. It’s running around new years and I was fascinated at what it was and what they are doing and the fact that they were developing a new application to compete with the biggest applications in the world and basing all of that on empowering the individual. So, unbelievable.
Editor: In your Is Twee for Me? Live show, you mentioned Tweebaa will soon become a leader of the first blockchain business application of earning commerce. Why are you so confident about it? Could you explain why?
Denis: First of all, blockchain is everything, right? So many things are in the blockchain, such as real estate transactions and stocks and bonds and equities of film funds. And, you know, the blockchain is wonderful because it doesn’t lie. Earning commerce within the blockchain, I mean, forget about it. What we’re talking about here is the ability to set up a system for people to earn money within the sub-rules and then have a blockchain system so no one can cheat it. These big applications can set up rules and stuff, just like they do when you monetizing your videos on you know who. And then they can change the playing field. You actually make less and less and less. Or the big guy that delivers all the stuff to your house, the company they suck money out to be like crazy. It costs money to do business with them so if you’re not doing much business that actually cost you money every month. It shouldn’t be that way. Tweebaa empowers individuals, that’s why it’s so unique.
Editor: Compared to other social platforms, Tweebaa is creating a new form of social ecosystem, a revolutionizing value exchange. Do you think its concept is a good fit with an average person’s needs, and why?
Denis: Tweebaa is creating a new social platform and its revolutionary, why? Because it pays you to use the app. Think frequent flyer miles so you got an application it helps you to make money while you’re using it. Because you are always on the damn thing and in doing. So, it enables you to help other people and to sell things to other people. And then the unique part of the product showroom, which was not really getting into in the interview, allows you to select a product from different people around the world and create your own Tycoonplace. The showroom with the products that you like if you’re into yoga, you don’t want film production stuff, you want yoga stuff. And if you’re into automobiles you might want to have speciality seat covers or wheels or cleaning products. It doesn’t matter. The Tycoonplace can be constructed to your needs and you can borrow from others. And that SYSTEM is so powerful.
Editor: Margaret Wang is the founder of Tweebaa, and you said her passion for Tweebaa motivated you to support this project with all your efforts. Could you tell us more about Margaret from your perspectives?
Denis: Margaret Wang is a genius. I’m lucky enough to work with a lot of founders and inventors. I was around for the com boom and I watched a lot of great people come up with great ideas and things get developed by its fantastic ideas. Things that got bought by companies that got bought by company… You know, I wouldn’t even know the name of it anymore, but some great people are out there all the time inventing. Inventors are unique people. Margaret has the ability to attract different types of people for different things that she needs. She knows she can’t do it all, so the ability to come in and slice off a little piece of little area that I can help with this marketing in North America that I really understand and in South America which you know my family is involved in. It’s fantastic because this application is different than the others. It’s really unique. I think she’s guided it all the way to here and now she’s taking it to a place where the actual earning commerce pieces already working. So, it’s going to actually be making money for people that use the app and I think that’s really a game-changer. That’s why it’s so fascinating to work with her.
Editor: I have noticed that you are a heavy user of Tweebaa. Your TiV score is higher (above 90) than most of our users. Do you feel Tweebaa has become an essential part of your life? Could you give some tips to other tycoons on how to manage their own tycoon place?
Denis: I’m one of these glasses half full people. I don’t really think social media should be used for complaining so I spent a great deal of my time ramping people up. And I believe from my own beliefs that you need to give people things that are lovely to consider beautiful things, beautiful pictures, beautiful song, beautiful music, beautiful film, beautiful people.
Why shouldn’t you be looking at beautiful things? Why do you want to look at the same old Reddit news every day when you can look at a beautiful thing? So I try to post inspiring things and I try to gain inspiration from people putting up food that they’re eating and it's fantastic. I stay curious to others post and I’d like to understand their lifestyle. So it thinks we’re closer and closer together as human beings when we share on social media. And I try to make that sharing contributory and not negative. That’s why I am a heavy user. I really like it. I like the app. In terms of how do you manage your own Tycoonplace? Well, I think one of the things I’ve been doing is trying to find little pieces of things that relate to you, such as healthy lifestyles, playing golf, recipes, formulas, or how to make a beautiful film. These are things that mean something to me. Everybody is different. Build your own and get to be you.
Editor: During your show, you always say that people can earn from their own personal values. But what’s the value you referring to? How can we digitalize and monetize personal values? How do we promote them?
Denis: During the show, I said that people can earn from their own personal values. The best example is that if you are a nanny and you’ve come from another country and taken care of other’s children in New York City with a great salary. So as a nanny, your personal value is how to keep kids calm in the biggest city in America and get them to from places like doctors’ appointments and keep kids happy and feed them. Those tips that you’ve developed several skills could solve many others’ issue. If you could sell your skills, even only for a dollar. Hundreds of thousands of people can buy your tips. Your ideas give you a little tiny bit of compensation. Lifts you up, lift them up. Everybody wins. There’s a whole big world of this type of compensation available for people and you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to get paid for your stuff online. If you understand how to easily put on Doorknobs, you can charge a dollar for that knowledge, put your little film together and not everything has to be absolutely free. It can be very inexpensive.
Editor: Have you made any friends from different countries on Tweebaa? Is there any interesting story to share?
Denis: Yes. I have a habit of making friends. I made friends that worked in China, Vietnam and in the Philippines. I have a link to the Philippines because my dad was stationed there during World War 2 for 2 years. So, I have a lot of photographs of my father living in the Philippines and thoroughly neat that I’m interacting with a number of them. We even call my friends who know each other for about 8 or 9 weeks, talking about things like our kids and grandkids. It’s awesome.
Editor: Do you have any suggestions on how to make Tweebaa better in the global market?
Denis: Yes. I’ve got lots of them and that’s one of the things that I’m consulted about, so right now there’s a group of people working crazy hours in all parts of the world right now to put this app together. There’s a lot of effort going in. There’s a lot of final touches going in. There’s a couple of pieces were putting in at the last minute. Tweebaa is really going to be revolutionary. We know how popular the app is going to be, so what we’re going to do is bring it to people in such a way. So everybody is going to check this out! You watch. There’s a team behind this company. I can’t tell how deep this team. It’s really cool.
Editor: Officially, Is Twee for Me? has gone live for more than one month. What’s your future plan for this show and will it become a regular program on Tweebaa TV?
Denis: Yes. We found that right away. We were informing people in our webinar actually. We got 500–600 views with very little advertising in a week, we are very pleased with that. But that was very gruelling for us. So, by doing a weekly show we were able to put cogent contents together, get great guests on, cover a topic and come back on the following week. We’re seeing replace daily shows and that means people are utilizing it. They’re not going back to see their pretty face because its only my pretty face. They’re going back to see something that I state or talked about or one of my guests talked about. So, yeah, we’re going to continue the show. One of the reasons is we can tailor the show a little more toward Tweebaa as we go. TWEE as an external piece and an integral part of Tweebaa, so it will react a lot. So I think it’s important that we keep the show going at this point and the new shows on Tweebaa TV are going to have a whole show on the product showroom, on posting, on tagging. There are so many cool stuff to talk about.
Editor: Thank you, Denis, for accepting this interview and we hope you will keep inspiring others. With your kind supports, we can make the Tweebaa world better. See you next time!
Denis: Looking forward to the Tweebaa V1.0 launch. It’s going to be awesome. Thanks for having me today! Is TWEE for me? Yes! TWEE is also for you!!! See you at the next show!
